A user loses or gains access in SharePoint, but the synced library on their PC does not reflect the updated permissions right away.

Recommended Resolution Path

  1. Confirm the permission change is effective in the browser first.
  2. Sign out and back in to OneDrive or reset the library connection if tokens are stale.
  3. Review whether the user still has access through another group or inheritance path.
  4. Document whether the delay is replication or a local sync artifact before escalating.
