Recommended Resolution Path

  1. Verify the QuickBooks Database Server Manager service is running on the host.
  2. Check share and NTFS permissions separately for the user and service account.
  3. Confirm the file path is excluded from antivirus scanning on both server and client.
  4. Use QuickBooks File Doctor only after confirming the issue is not pure permissions.
