  1. Check internal DNS for stale or split-horizon records.
  2. Confirm hairpin NAT is supported if the internal network is resolving to the public IP.
  3. Test with hosts file override or direct internal record to isolate name resolution.
  4. Review local web filtering or firewall policies affecting the domain.
