A maintenance or export task succeeds interactively, but fails or never starts on schedule overnight.

Recommended Resolution Path

  1. Review the task history, account rights, and whether the password or service logon changed.
  2. Check working directory, network dependency, and whether prompts are hidden in the interactive run.
  3. Test with full paths and a transcript to capture overnight behavior.
  4. If the task touches network resources, confirm those paths are reachable in noninteractive context.
