Directory sync begins failing after changes to on-premises AD attributes or OU structure.

Recommended Resolution Path

  1. Review recent sync rule or OU filtering changes before forcing multiple delta cycles.
  2. Inspect Synchronization Service Manager for connector space errors.
  3. Validate service account permissions and ADSync database health.
  4. If schema attributes were introduced, confirm the server is fully updated and restart the sync engine gracefully.
