Recommended Resolution Path

  1. Audit protector status locally and in management reporting.
  2. Resume protection only after confirming the device is stable and the recovery key is escrowed.
  3. Investigate whether scripts or maintenance tooling suspend BitLocker without cleanup.
  4. Add a report for prolonged suspension so this does not linger silently.
