M365 group created but Teams team never appears

Scenario

A Microsoft 365 group exists, but the corresponding Team was never provisioned or failed mid-process.

Recommended Resolution Path

1. Check whether Teams creation was blocked by policy, template, or naming controls.
2. Wait for backend provisioning only after reviewing service health and audit logs.
3. Retry team enablement from Teams admin or PowerShell if the group is valid.
4. Avoid duplicate group creation while the first object is still converging.
