Scenario

Outlook profile creation keeps targeting an old Exchange or migration endpoint instead of the current Microsoft 365 service.

Recommended Resolution Path

1. Run Microsoft Remote Connectivity Analyzer style checks manually by reviewing DNS and SCP records.
2. Inspect local autodiscover XML responses, cached credentials, and registry overrides.
3. Remove stale on-premises SCP or split-brain DNS records if the environment was recently migrated.
4. Create the profile again only after name resolution and endpoint discovery are clean.
